Office Hours

Perhaps a remnant of my university teaching days, I provide office hours to clients and to the general business community. Whether you need to learn a new feature of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, WordPress, or other technology question, I am available for one-to-one coaching or consulting. Office hours are done at my office in Mount Laurel or through the web using GoToMeeting. (Please note that I do not travel for office hours.)

Standard Office Hours

If you need help on an ongoing basis, you are able to schedule time on the calendar as needed. Office hours are scheduled in 60 minute blocks at my standard hourly rate of $125/hour.

If you would like to work on an ongoing basis, I also offer the following monthly packages:

  • Basic Package: $225/month
    2 hours of one-on-one help/training/brainstorming
    50% discount on seminars and webinars
  • Better Package: $525/month
    5 hours of one-on-one help/training/brainstorming
    50% discount on seminars and webinars

You are welcome to record our sessions together to use for later reference.

If you would like to book an entire day, need training at your location or training for multiple people, I suggest private training as the appropriate option.

Free Office Hours

If you have a simple or short question, you can sign-up for a 20-minute block of time at no cost. Here are the ground rules:

  • I will post available time slots for free sessions on Friday for the following week. These will be posted on Facebook and/or on Twitter. (If you are not a fan or aren’t following me, you will miss it.)
  • Time slots are first come, first serve. No whining or begging for special treatment.
  • If someone signs up for a slot and has to cancel, I’ll post that slot as available or simply leave it open.
  • I will not review or research anything in advance of the session. You are welcome to send me notes, details, links, etc. in advance, but as this is a free session, I’ll review with you during the session itself.
  • At the end of the session, I may give you some form of an assignment to do or practice. You cannot sign-up for another free session until that assignment is complete. (You’ll email me when you are done so I can see and be proud of your accomplishments.)

Hang on a second, you mean it is really free?
As long as you are okay with the above guidelines, yes, it is free.

How can you make money this way?
I don’t expect to make money giving away these free sessions. I’ve found that there are many people that need just a question or two answered and I like to help them. That’s just how I roll.

The time slots that you posted don’t work with my schedule. Can I schedule a different time?
If you need to schedule a specific time, my standard (paid) office hours are the best option for you. Remember, I’m giving away this for free.
