Sometimes code behaves. If you have a website or blog, go ahead and implement @Anywhere to connect Twitter with your site. I’ll be trying a few of the features where appropriate, but the basic hovercard functionality (like this one for @hyermish, roll over it to see) is worth the effort.
Some of the other features are the ability to embed individual Tweets into your site with Blackbird Pie. For example:
