I have an idea. The record labels are trying to figure out ways to sell more while the consumers like being able to buy single tracks. The answer is in the old 45 single with an extra digital twist.
So let’s say you purchased the one popular track on iTunes for a buck. Why not allow me to purchase one more B-side track for a small marginal cost, say about $.45.
iTunes already allows you to complete the album. This would just be a small step towards convincing me that it is worth it.
