Difference Engine No. 2

Nathan Myrhvold, former Chief Technical Officer of Microsoft, commissioned the building of a Difference Engine No. 2 based on Charles Babbage‘s design. It’s on display at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA starting May 10, 2008 for the next year. After that is will go to Myrhvold’s private collection in the living room of his home.
